Conservation. Education. Recreation.

Nonconnah Creek Conservancy was founded in 2016.

Our mission is to advocate for the conservation of the natural spaces along Nonconnah Creek and in its watershed; educate people about the natural and cultural resources that can be found along the creek; and work to improve the recreational value of the creek for today and for future generations.

Join us in learning more about Nonconnah Creek.

iNaturalist is a great tool for learning more about the world around you. If you can take a picture you can add observations of anything living or once living to the database. If taking pictures isn’t your thing you can still contribute by helping to identify observations by other users. If neither of those is your cup of tea, you can still check out what other people have been seeing and learn about what lives along Nonconnah Creek or anywhere else in the world for that matter.

Interested in what we have going on?

Take a look at our most recent Newsletter to learn about what’s been going on with the conservancy. (Presently we do 3-4 newsletters a year.) We strive to host a clean-up somewhere in the watershed at least once a quarter. We also host one or more field trips per month. Dates on the google calendar are typically up to date. We welcome members and guests alike to participate in our events.
